Past Performances
2023 was the first year of operation for The Sanctuary Concert Hall brand. Each performance raised funds for St. John's and the Townsend Smith Foundation to help build a hospice in North Halton. Below are some photos and comments from the performances this year. Enjoy!
01
The Marion Singers of Greater Toronto
Under the direction of Christopher Dawes, "The Marion Singers" gave a wonderful performance in April to support St. John's and the Townsend Smith Foundation.
02
Inspiring Broadway
Inspiring Broadway, the final event in the Inspiring Spaces Series at St. John's, brought four amazingly talented theatrical performers from Toronto to The Sanctuary Concert Hall stage - Lisa Horner, Cailin Stadnyk, Taurian Teelucksingh and Jamie Lujan
03
An Evening with David Celia
David Celia is an outstanding solo guitarist and entertainer. The Sanctuary Concert Hall and its patrons welcomed him in a sold out coffee house setting that made for a very relaxed and enjoyable evening.
04
The Sounds of Christmas
St. John's Music Director Mark Peterson conducts the 40 male and female voices of the St. John's United Church Choir and guests as they present The Sounds of Christmas, their annual community outreach offering December 11th at 7:30pm.
05
A Magical Christmas
The Mike Pelletier Trio, along with Alexandra Lennox and Juliette Jones brought us the magic of Christmas with songs from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" along with O Holy Night and Mary Did You Know. They brought the house down.
