ST. JUCY ~ TEENS AND YOUTH currently on hold:

St. JUCY is the name chosen by our youth group members for our CE youth group. St. JUCY is an acronym for St. John’s United Church Youth and is pronounced “Saint Juicy”. St. JUCY formed in April 2018 to serve the Christian Education needs of our older, more mature youth in a programme distinct and separate from the children’s programme offered in G.A.M.E.. St. JUCY meets in the church parlour, sometimes joining the congregation in the sanctuary for the beginning of our worship service, sometimes reserving their hour for their programme before joining everyone at coffee time.

(G.A.M.E.) Sunday School currently on hold:
The G.A.M.E. (God And My Education), formerly known as Sunday School, provides a weekly learning experience for the children of our congregation.  The children stay in the sanctuary for the first part of the service and then leave after the children's story for an inspiring time of learning and crafts.  We are also able to offer baby care in our nursery which is staffed by a child care worker.

EASTER:

Music supports our Easter journey at St. John's. For many years the Good Friday story was shared through scripture and choral music. Music has been shared by St. John's congregation and choir to bring us together in a meditative reflective space in honour of Christ's journey to the cross. Our Easter Sunday Communion service is filled with extra music to help celebrate this joyful day.

LABOUR DAY WEEKEND:

We invite you to visit another church of your choosing on this "field trip" Sunday. There is no worship service at St. John's.

ADVENT:
This year on the second Sunday of Advent, December 10th, the choir shares its Christmas Choral Presentation at 10:00am in Georgetown. This performance is repeated for the community, on the Monday that follows, at 7:30pm in Georgetown.
